A supplemental Geotechnical and Hydrogeological Investigation for the Ottawa Light Rail Transit Project (OLRT) is currently underway and will run until the end of Summer. This investigation will involve the drilling of bore holes along the length of the proposed route between Tunney’s Pasture and Blair Stations. Ottawa, 17 April 2012 – As part of ongoing Ottawa Light Rail Transit (OLRT) project geotechnical investigations, some traffic restrictions will be in place on Rideau Street between Sussex Drive and Nicholas Street beginning April 22, 2012 until May 1, 2012. Rideau Street will be restricted to buses and taxis only between 6:00am and 7:00pm Monday through Friday.
