Building a world-class transit system is a once in a lifetime opportunity that we can all be a part of. This is the largest capital project in our city’s history and it will be truly transformational. Its benefits extend well beyond public transit. Our new Light Rail system will make our communities healthier, greener, more livable and more prosperous.

Just as Light Rail will bring our communities together, the Light Rail project can bring us together as residents. Whether it is a discussion on public art for our stations, planning new cycling paths, or developing infrastructure and public works to support a more vibrant and densely populated downtown core – we all have something to contribute and we all have something to win.

With the resourcefulness, creativity and vitality of our community, we will deliver a World-Class, Rapid, Reliable, Sustainable and Affordable transit solution that will benefit residents for generations to come.

How can you Get Involved

While planning for the Light Rail Project has included numerous public consultations, the Project Team is eager to hear from residents at any time. To help facilitate this, you can join one of our online forums:
